Xeriscape rebate program — up to $500 back for water-wise yards
Following last summer’s watering restrictions, the board approved a xeriscape matching rebate: convert 200 square feet or more of turf to water-wise landscaping and the HOA will match the City of Longmont’s turf-replacement rebate, up to $500 per household.
How it works:
- Submit an ARC request with your planting plan (the ARC has a pre-approved plant list — most native and low-water plants sail through).
- Apply for the City of Longmont rebate.
- Send the board your city approval and receipts. The HOA match goes out with the next quarterly statement as a credit.
Applications are open through September 30. Twelve households used the program in its first month — the ARC turnaround is currently about a week.
